Open for business!

The library is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students are allowed to use the library and the media center during class time with a pass from their teacher. The media center itself is available for classes accompanied by their teacher on a sign-up basis.

The Weed High School library collection supports the English and social sciences curriculum as well as recreational reading.  We currently have over 5000 books with the primary focus being on the fiction section.  Our goal is to add 100 new titles each year in order to provide contemporary and challenging reading materials to our students. Students are able to search for books with our online access catalog. They can also place holds on books they would like to reserve. Students are encouraged to see Mrs. Schnack for their user numbers and passwords.

The media center has four mobile laptop carts that are available for teachers to check-out and use in their classrooms or for individual students to use in the media center.  There are two polycom machines that are also portable and can be used for distance-learning classes or meetings.
